Paperworks studio–a program of Goodwill–makes beautiful one-of-a-kind handmade greeting cards–from recycled materials–including blue jeans. The textures are amazing, just like a your favorite pair of jeans.
The program team of artists who make them are even more amazing. They are people with special needs and disadvantages who learn valuable like and works skills and build self-esteem while working here. This helps them gain more independence in their lives. They are a great team full of passion, fun and love. The more cards Paperworks Studio sells the more people are hired and more lives are changes. We’ve refined our process of making stunning greeting cards–now they are 100% recycled blue jeans. You can feel the textures, see the threads, and of course the team of people who make them are amazing. You can meet some of them on our Facebook page. We get jeans from Goodwill–of which we are a program of and then the processes start of breaking them down into a pulp and then into cards. There is alot of love, passion and 18 years of experience.
